Two-man delivery in Newcastle
Some things simply take two. Book a two-man team and your heavy, awkward item is carried safely upstairs and into the room, not left on the doorstep.
Trying to move a heavy item with one person is how backs get hurt and doorframes get scratched. Our two-man delivery service sends a proper pair of movers with the strength, technique and kit to shift bulky, awkward things safely — up tight staircases, round difficult corners and into the exact spot you want them.
Built for heavy and awkward
Corner sofas, super-king beds, wardrobes, American fridge-freezers, wood-burning stoves, safes and pianos all need two people and a plan. We bring straps, trolleys, dollies and blankets, measure up mentally as we go, and lift with proper technique so nothing — including us — gets damaged along the way.
Upstairs, round corners, into the room
This is where two movers really earn their keep. Flats with narrow communal stairs, terraces with tight hallways, and new-builds with awkward landings are all in a day's work. We protect walls and floors, take doors off their hinges if that is what it takes, and place the item exactly where you want it rather than dumping it inside the front door.
- Corner suites, sofas and armchairs
- Beds, mattresses and heavy wardrobes
- Fridge-freezers, range cookers and white goods
- Safes, stoves and other seriously heavy items
- Upright and small pianos (see our piano service too)
Delivery or a mini-move
Book two-man delivery for a single heavy item, or use the same team for a small move where everything is on the heavy side. Because you are paying for two people, quick jobs are done in half the time, which often makes it better value than it first appears.
Careful with your home and your item
Everything travels wrapped and secured, and we treat your home like our own — floor runners down, corners protected, no rushing. We take real care, so both your item and your property come through the move in the same condition they started.

Frequently asked questions
When do I need two movers instead of one?
For anything heavy or awkward, or where there are stairs — sofas, wardrobes, appliances and pianos. Two movers keep it safe for your item, your home and everyone's back.
Will you take it upstairs?
Yes. Carrying heavy items up staircases and into the room is exactly what the two-man service is for.
Can you move a piano?
We handle upright and smaller pianos with our two-man team. For grand pianos, see our dedicated piano transport service.
Is two-man delivery good value for quick jobs?
Often yes — two people finish in half the time, so a short heavy job can work out very reasonably.
